Box Contents
Perfect for one or two people who want to eat organically on a budget. The value box contains potatoes and carrots OR onions as well as 4 other items that change each week according to the seasons.
In summer, your box might contain: UK new potatoes, carrots, locally-grown chard, locally-grown beetroot, UK broccoli, aubergine
In winter, your box might contain: UK Potatoes, UK Onions, UK Green Cabbage, UK Parsnips, Tomatoes, Courgettes
Sign up to our weekly newsletter, published at 9am every Saturday which tells you what will be in the veg box for the week ahead. The newsletter also includes seasonal recipes and general organic veg chat.
Delivery
The organic veg boxes are delivered from Tues-Friday every week.
Tuesday – Sheffield city centre, Kelham Island, Netherthorpe, Broomhall, Crosspool, Ranmoor, Redmires, Fulwood.
Wednesday – Crookes, Stannington, Hillsborough, Grenoside, Shiregreen, Chapeltown, High Green
Thursday – Greystones, Bents Green, Whirlow, Parkhead, Nether edge, Sharrow, Abbeydale Road
Friday – Peak District, Bradfield, Hathersage, Baslow, Castleton, Gleadless, Dronfield, Meersbrook, Heeley, Eckington.
Collection: Alternatively, you can choose to collect your veg box each week from the shop. This is available Tuesday-Friday from 9am-7pm.
(Please note you must collect your box within 24hrs of your selected day otherwise we will donate the box to charity.)
Delivery times: Due to the nature of the business, we cannot guarantee delivery times however we aim to deliver by 5pm.
Safe Space: You do not need to be in to receive your veg box. The delivery driver will leave your box as per your delivery instructions when you sign up. Locations that are out of direct sunlight are ideal, for example a box behind a hedge or wall in your front garden.
Manage your subscription
Your veg box can be managed from your online account when you sign up.
Pause or cancel your box if you go away for a while
Add extras from the online shop such as eggs, bread and wholefoods.
Edit the frequency of your box from weekly, fortnightly or as a one off
The cutoff for orders and cancellations is midnight two days before your delivery. For example, if you receive a delivery on Wednesday, your order deadline is midnight on Monday.
Recycling
Your veg box will be delivered in our branded, reusable cardboard box. Please leave this box out in a safe, dry place for your delivery driver to collect on your next delivery. We aim to recycle reuse these boxes 4 times and this is factored into the cost of the veg box.
Payment
Payment is taken weekly on a Friday for the delivery you have received that week. We use a third-party payment company to take payments using the card details you enter.
